My Brother

   Having the same birthday as my brother,

  all through school we sat next to each other.

 Kids would ask, "Are you guys twins?"

  We'd say "Yes" exchanging grins.

   Tom taught me to:

  Climb a tree, 

  Play ice hockey,

  Water ski,

  Run real fast,

  Throw a football pass,

  Be a good scout,

  When sailing, hike out!

  Play chess,

  and do my best.

   We had each other then

  and we're not alone even when 

he's in the next life,

my brother is 

still  

teaching 

me.
